"Well written but mid-leading!"

Well, I have to say I find this review a little misleading myself.

I agree that the radiation carried via water particles cannot be filtered out! Also the part regarding the building structure under earthquake conditions! Who knows?

But Firstly, Vipassana is NOT a meditation retreat! That's exactly what this whole 10-days is not, a retreat is where you rock up, have massage & do a bit of meditation! Vipassana is serious business, as you learnt/or didn't listen to, on the dis-course, or for that matter through your meditation's! it's an operation on the minds consious & sub-consious levels. This is not done through the teacher reading out a manuspript of doctrines! Its done by yourself, through meditation, by yourself, the whole essence & ethos of vipassana is your own exploration of your own mind! They simply provide you with food, a quiet place & yes informative dis-courses! They are strict regarding reading materials, phones laptops etc. but so they should be, this is serious stuff, you quickly become aware that the whole ethos of the course is simple, everything is kept simple to minimise distration! Regarding you saying these teaching's have a 'cult' trait, I strongly disagree, Goenka doesn't try & feed you mind with crap, he doesn't manulate anything, he simply give good examples of situations that really do resonate with what life throws at you. It's a shame you have written what you have, as it shows you have left the course with little understanding..
