"Slammed The Phone Down"

Be cautious when dealing with this business. I recently had the part owner of Hereford Gas Services visit to quote for the installation of a new gas boiler. I had asked for them to quote for fitting and for me to supply the boiler and parts. When on site he quoted £450 labour. We talked about this figure and he said it included electrician costs to verify the wiring. The written quote was much more than expected. He had quoted to supply and fit. He was quoting £300 more for the boiler than I could source it for, and he had missed an expansion vessel off the quote. When I spoke with him on the phone he said that electricians costs would be an additional £150. When challenged on this, he basically said he had changed his mind, and that the verbal quote didn't stand. He was very impatient and rude, ending the call by slamming the phone down on me. There is a complete lack of professionalism with this business. If you have any problems with the installation after the work has been carried out, don't expect friendly treatment..
