Here is a quick guide to Hereford's main shopping areas:

The city centre has several shopping areas offering everything from the big high street names to smaller, more exclusive fashion boutiques and stylish European-style street cafes, not to mention an ever-popular livestock market.

The centrally-located Maylord shopping centre houses many of the high street national stores and allows shoppers to stroll around under cover and stop for a coffee when they get tired, a sure tonic for many a wearer consumer!

Church Street is narrow and picturesque and links the High Town area with Cathedral Close where there is a good range of independent shops.

Close to the river is the Left Bank Village with shops offering quality goods and a wide range of gifts.

The Butter Market, close to the museum, is home to stalls selling a variety of goods and produce. There is a large area that is pedestrianised and used for local events and displays during the year.
